HOLISTIC EDUCATION • WASHIM, MAHARASHTRA

Every Child Has Potential. Let's Discover It Together.

Education is more than textbooks and examinations. Every young person has unique strengths, interests and abilities waiting to be discovered.

Universal Versatile Society (UVS) is developing a community-based Holistic Education Programme that brings students, parents, schools and local communities together to nurture confidence, creativity, wellbeing, practical life skills and responsible citizenship.

BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

Learning Beyond Marks and Examinations

Every child learns differently. Some discover their abilities through practical work, others through communication, creativity, leadership, caring for people, solving problems or working with nature.

Our Holistic Education Programme aims to complement formal schooling by providing opportunities for students to explore their potential through meaningful experiences, reflection and community participation.

Recognising individual strengths, interests and aspirations.

Self-Discovery

Personal Wellbeing

Building confidence, emotional awareness and healthy relationships.

Responsible Citizenship

Learning cooperation, empathy and community responsibility.

Discover Your Strengths

Grow Through Real Experiences

Discover. Develop. Thrive.

Our proposed approach brings together self-discovery, practical skills and real-world experiences to help adolescents grow as confident, capable and socially responsible individuals.

Through activities, conversations and observations, students will explore their interests, aptitudes and strengths, helping them understand their unique potential.

For Parents

UVS is preparing a phased pilot of its Holistic Education Programme in Washim District, Maharashtra.
The proposed pilot will bring together a manageable group of adolescents, facilitators, parents, schools and community partners. Learning from the initial experience will help refine the approach and explore its potential for adaptation in other communities.
